Karen Denard Goldman , PhD, CHES, SPHR
Principal, KDG Consulting

Karen Denard Goldman has over 25 years of experience in health education, public health, and human resources.

She was president of both the local and nation Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), served on the board of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, co-founded and coordinated the New York State Health Education Coalition, and now sits on the Boards of the Public Health Association of New York City and Congregation Mount Sinai.

The Principal Investigator of state and federal grants, Karen has received awards for her professional contributions from both the Society for Public Health Education and the American Public Health Association, co-authored Health Education Tools of the Trade: Tools for Tasks That Didn’t Come With The Job Description, and has published articles in public health, medical, and health education journals.

As Assistant Commissioner for Citywide Personnel Development for the City of New York, Karen created many innovative professional development programs for City Personnel Directors.  She also oversaw the Citywide Training Center and the City’s leadership, management, internship, fellowship, and workforce development programs.

In addition to her current faculty position at Kingsborough Community College (CUNY), Dr. Goldman runs KDG Consulting which offers training and development services to health and human service organizations and specialists.  Karen is an extremely popular public speaker known for her ability to educate, inspire, energize, and entertain.  Certified as a health education specialist and a senior professional in human resources, Karen has a BA and MAT from Beloit College, an MS in Health Sciences from Hunter College, a PhD in Health Education from NYU, and a certificate in Human Resources Management from Pace University.

Ms. Feierman is the author of Action Grammar, a Simon & Schuster book now in its seventh printing.

Richard Gitlin specializes in facilitating and encouraging other people’s professional and career success through one-on-one coaching, practical skillshops, and illuminating presentations such as “Paradigm Prison Breakout,” “Collaborating with Dead People,” and “Who dares, wins!” He enables people to see things they weren’t looking for.

Sana Reynolds, PhD is a communication expert and consultant with twenty years of multinational experience with British, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Russian and Swiss companies. Her areas of expertise include cross-cultural communication, writing, document design, and presentations skill development. Dr. Reynolds has published two books and numerous articles, and worked extensively in both the public and private sectors.
